Title: Google.CA
Post by: Killer360 on April 25, 2007, 07:36:11 PM
I've always wondered... when I type in www.google.com is automatically redirects to google.ca. Is this because google detects that my IP is assigned to someone in Canada?

Thanks.

No, it's the pixies. :P

This doesn't really belong here, though... unless you have a question on how to do it. ;)

If it didn't direct you to google.ca because you're in Canada, what do you expect it to do?

It makes sense for them to translate English=>Canadian for us, though.

Fixed.
