Title: Guild Wars 2

Looks like it's going to be pretty good. Should attract a bigger audience than GW1. Not that it matters to anyone here, but they're making a pretty smooth transition over from GW1->GW2.

Anyone here planning on playing? Keep in mind - No monthly fees. =)

I heard GW2 is becoming more and more like WoW. :|

Of '09? Hehe.

GW2 comes out in 2nd half of '08.

Lots of people are getting GW:EN and GW2 confused.  GW: Eye of the North, or EN, is simply another campaign of GW1, Such as Factions and Nightfall, and is to be released later in '07. Main purpose: New fun stuff + Helping people prepare for transfer to GW2.

My guild'll have a spot for you, Sidoh. =)

In a few ways. Yes. However, not in the money department, my main failure with WoW. =)

Ah, okay.  I falsely presumed it'd be soon.  I'm not sure I'll fall back onto WoW, but I suppose we'll see. :)

Mmm Z-Axis... that's what the game was missing, imo.  :)

GW2 won't have a monthly fee, so it's not anything like WoW in that sense.

Yep, and monies is why I don't play WoW.

I like the "Structured PvP". However, I still prefer WoW over Guild Wars/Guild Wars 2. The storyline that WoW has is so intricate that it drags me in. Also the world just has a monumental feeling, not to mention the amount of customization you can do to thinks(Socketed Items w/ Enchants make for a huge combination possibility).

However for being a free game, it's not too bad.

oh I thought he meant the in-game money system, like the auction house and stuff. Speaking of WoW monthly fee, my free initial month is up tomorrow! :(

By 08 they should have The new WoW expansion and this should make or break the game. We will see.
