A few questions:
-Do you wear flip-flops with pants?
-Do wear flip-flops with shorts?
-Do you wear flip-flops when real shoes would be more appropriate?
-Do you like steak? If so, how do you like it cooked?
-What is your favorite whiskey?
Whats wrong with flipflops with pants? I'm often tired to put shoes on so I do sometimes.
I also wear flipflops with shorts! :-X
I never wear flipflops. I think they're uncomfortable, impractical and ugly. I can slip my tennis shoes on almost as quickly as I can flipflops, so I've never really seen the point. They have their uses, though, I suppose. It's normally a good thing to wear them in dorm showers unless you want more "colorful feat."
Personally, I like wearing them at the cottage and other sandy/muddy places. Shoes are ruined easily, but sandals (and flip-flops) aren't.
Speaking of which, is there a difference between sandals and flipflops? I've only ever heard of sandals, I only hear flip-flops on TV.

I think "Sandal" is a more encompassing term.
This, for example, I would not consider a flip flop:

Ah, ok. I hate flip-flops then. Certain sandals are ok, though.
Sandals are fucking weird, might as well just wear a shoe.
Flip flops I wear in beach like situations or while washing my big and beautiful truck. Also, there are a few (infrequent) instances in which I will wear them to a place (doc appt, groceries, what have you). However, I am always wearing shorts.
I will not wear them with pants.
I will not wear sandals unless maybe I was boating or something that required me have something fastened to my foot (flip flops dont have a good hold).
Sandals (of any sort) an socks are worse than flipflops and pants
Pants and flip flops = weird poser "O.C. scene" kid :-\
I love wearing flip flops. They're pretty much all I wear in summer, even when tromping around the woods.
Summer = ok sometimes, shoes still make more sense
Anything that isn't a shoe in the wilderness = stupid.

Agreed, though I never wear either of them.
That actually reminds me, I wore sandals everywhere for awhile. I had a rash on my toes, and the doctor said to keep it aired out and dry and it'll go away. And she was right!
But yeah, flip-flops are way uncomfortable, so in places where others would wear them, I might wear sandals. Especially in places where shoes would get ruined, which usually involves water and/or sand.
Haha, I usually just wear my "junk" tennis shoes (the ones I use to mow the lawn, pain, etc) in cases that require shoes (wading the river (which tennis shoes are better suited for anyway, haha), etc). I don't think I own a pair of sandals. My mom bought me a pair of flip flops for college, but I rarely used them. I just wore my shoes when I went to the bathroom.
I wear these puppies everywhere I go, except four wheeling.

Yay! :D
Yeah, I was going to say "learn to resize" before you took them down. :P
lol
You have hairy feet. You're a hobbit! :D
I've had to wear flip flops for the past week due to toe surgery + major infection. It fucking blows.

I love my flip flops, but I don't wear them with pants because I don't like how no shoe makes the pant leg 'flap' (I guess is the word) more. Anyway here are mine. The one on right is from the pair that I wear, they're very comfortable and fit my foot perfectly. They're made by Sperry (boatshoes) so theoretically I could use them while sailing because they have the same non-slip grip stuff on the bottom but I'm afraid they'll fall into the water so I don't. The other ones I've had for a few months but don't wear them because they're kind of uncomfortable and feel weird. They have the Hampden-Sydney crest though so I'll probably wear them a lot while I'm in college for like football games and stuff.

I find it odd that chicks shave their feet, however, I'd find it more odd (disturbing really) if they didnt.
I do like my feet hairy, though

I always wear flip-flops in the summer.. Maybe because I'm a girl, but, there isn't a whole lot heck else to wear unless you want to die of heat. My converse aren't exactly that comfortable in 90 degree weather. I've worn flip-flops for so many years, though, that I have callouses where the straps hit my foot.

chicks in flip flops are a TOTALLY different story.
In shorts, a skirt, or capriees (however the hell you spell that) a chick can wear them and still look 'supa fly'

I never fell during fugitive... Maybe Fatzach? Maybe limping after concert and having someone stomp directly on it causing pain and hella blood? I had an ingrown toenail (biggest the doctor had seen, with a worse infection).
I wear flip flops when going to the pool/beach, or if I'm way too lazy to put on shoes.
Otherwise, throughout the summer, I generally wear sandals. They're comfy as hell, easy to put on, and don't require socks! :D

You realize that your description of sandals matched flip flops, only flip flops are easier to put on.
Flip flops definitely aren't "comfy as hell".

It depends on the type, for instance...my Sperry's are extremely comfortable.

Maybe you've only worn cheap ones. Good flip flops are really comfortable.

I totally wear sandels with pants all the time, its just easier to do sometimes. That said, if I ever think I'm going to be in a spot where I might need shoes I go ahead and wear them(ala storm chasing).
I have sweaty feet... I hate wearing sandals. It feels like I stepped in water and my feet make slapping noises when I walk. :/

That's probably a good reason TO wear sandals, actually. If you have sweaty feet that can't dry (in shoes), you'll end up with a rash (which is a nice way of saying a fungus) causing you problems. That's pretty much what happened to me, but it was more because I was riding my bike every day without changing my socks, so it would be even more sweat than usual.
You just have to find a pair of sandals that strapps down so it doesn't make slapping noises, and is the right shape not to make flatulant noises.

Sandals and flip flops aren't that different. Sandals have a little strap in the back. Common sense. >>
Hmmm, wearing flip-flops with pants does seem a bit contradictory to me... but it's probably because I associate flip-flops and sandals with summer- when you're suppose to be wearing shorts in most places and in cases like Sidoh mentioned- when you're not out in public.
I have hair on my feet, just not a lot of noticable hair... but then again I'm Asian and only the hair on my head where the sun don't shine is thick/dark enough to be noticed easily...
Ew. Okay, stop. :P
@Newby: Every part of you is sweaty. Hands, feet, armpits.. Wow. qq, botox.
I usually wear shoes when I'm going to be walking for a while, but if I'm just driving my brother to town (my parents cover gas money + a few bucks, so why not?) I'll generally wear flip-flops. Sometimes I just slip them off while driving -- pretty comfy. I've been trying to get my parents to get me a pair of sandals (with the extra straps) but they're lazy and I'm broke, so eh?
And I never wear pants when I don't have to. I think last year I was wearing shorts + t-shirt well into October/November last year.

Although I've been better lately, kinda weird.
