Have fun when you get into Kara, though. Second time I was there with my current guild, we accidently pulled two groups and some dufus accidently pulled the first boss, Attuneman, too; We took care of the whole thing and the healers didn't even hit half mana. While you'll probably always feel awesome yourself, its an even better feeling to realize that the people you associate with are just as awesome. ;)

I leveled a prot warrior to ~46, playing pretty much exclusively solo. It sucked. It was my first character too, so that didn't help. Fury would probably have made things a bunch easier. My second character (a warlock) was totally ezmode though. But it was way more fun too.

I just finished solo questing a warrior to level 51, over the past month, or so. He hasn't been tough to level, at all. I've been able to quest on mobs 2 to 5 levels higher than I have been the entire time, taking 2 or 3 guys at once. I constantly have good gear for my level, though, that I buy with my 70 main, but still - Warriors are fun, and easy. I already enjoy the warrior more than my priest.

I'm curious, what spec are you? Warriors when compared to other classes imho are hell to level. I constantly, up until recently have had to regear every few levels to keep up with the tanking demand placed by bosses. Besides having a lot of downtime while leveling (bandaging, pots, or food), having a tough time in PvP, and having 10g a day repair bills..I'd say Warriors were pretty enjoyable for their ability to take a few hits.
Quit bashing Warlocks unless you leveled one in 1.3. They were by no means ez-mode.

That's because you don't level a priest as holy - who does that? A shadow priest can heal just fine for lower level things. I didn't go holy until I was 70.
My warrior is purely fury spec. I'm constantly buying him new gear off the auction house, though. I'm bored of my priest, so I'm really hoping to make the warrior my main.

I was Shadow until 40, at which point I respeced because I was getting all of my XP doing instances.
I love MHing with shadow priests in the group.
I hate anyone who would have a shadow priest between 41 and 59. Not only is it annoying to me, but it *should* be annoying to you as well, not being able to find a group. At 60+ there's enough tiered holy priests to go around and PvP is a good excuse to go shadow, but you should level from 40+ as holy, I'd think. Nothing pissed me off more while leveling than wiping over and over because our MH was shadow.

VT + VE = Healers best friend. I'm spec'd to heal and I do fine without a SP, but with a SP it lets me divert more attention to the MT (( the small heals are taken care of via VE )), anywho, since you don't have a healer you shouldn't care too much <3

Why don't you try leveling a priest in a holy spec?

That's true, Fury makes things very easy. Unfortunately I didn't figure this out until around 55. Once I figured that out I flew through my levels, quests, and grinding became incredibly easy.
I still have moderate downtime (Much less than with Arms or Prot spec) but it's understandable. I think Fury doesn't ramp up until you get Rampage (And Victory Rush at 60).
Also, I enjoy kicking the shit out of Warlocks with my Warrior.

Yeah, I don't think you know what you're talking about. Shadow Priests are fully capable of healing a group five levels above their level quite well. While it's obvious that Holy/Disc Priests do a better job, they also have a MUCH harder time questing on their own. Finding a group as a Priest as long as you're willing to focus on healing is always easy. Almost everyone I've encountered doesn't give a rat's ass how you've applied your talent points, as long as you're a competent healer.
To be honest, I think it's silly to dislike Shadow Priests 41-59 and suddenly not mind them at 60-70. Priests don't "wipe groups" because they're Shadow. They wipe groups because they're incompetent healers who don't pay enough attention to health bars. At 63, I healed for Slave Pens (I think that's the name of it?) and did quite well speced as Shadow. I don't think we wiped more than twice and that was with my friend who's a 63 Balance Druid tanking. Ask any Priest who's not biased against Shadow (there are some that dislike it simply because it's not Holy); they'll tell you that a Shadow Priest is more than capable of healing a group at any level.
Shadow priests are absolutely fine at healing instances except past 60, from what I've seen. From there, it gets tricky; the shadow priests in our guild refuse to heal at the higher level instances (usually 70 ones, not sure about pre-70), not because they don't want to, but because they can't. But, all of them have stated that pre-60, they had absolutely no problem healing -- and, from what I've experienced, it's almost better to have a pre-60 shadow priest healing because they can do VE and heal. What tends to be the problem is that some (note, some) shadow priests just don't *like* to heal, and so they're lazy. I expect that from 41-59, they're just really not feeling it.
I gotta admit, I absolutely love shadow priests. They're remarkably one of the highest damage casters in the game, and compliment other classes very well. Typically, though, if someone has made the choice to remain shadow, I don't ask them to heal, unless they really want to. That's why I tend not to do pugs.. It's not always the specific class they are that's the problem. It's the fact that the player is an idiot. :P
Good tanks, though, are also as hard to find, but from what I've experienced, they're easier to make up for. DPSing as a druid, pulling aggro wasn't a big deal; mages can kite, warlocks have a decent amount of hit points, rogues can pop evasion, so unless it's a boss, a bad tank isn't *always* going to wipe a group. A bad healer, though... That could prove to cause different problems.

Oh, BTW, I respecced Oomkin, because tanking Kara has gotten me stressed out. :P I've gotten pretty much all the gear I can get from there, now; I'm sitting at 14k hp and 28k armor unbuffed, which I could probably improve even more, but a) it's decent enough, b) I won't be tanking Gruuls, and c) we have 4 other feral druids in the guild who I outgear by a huge margin. :-/
Boomkin is killer DPS, I didn't realize it until we had a 70 running us through BRD one day. :-*

Oomkin are awesome. :) I had fun for a few days.. But, I ended up having to respecc for Kara and Gruuls. And, we so totally had two druid shoulder T4 dropped and, I rolled a 1. A friggin 1... I rock. (We had a brand new priest to the guild, and the boomkin druid from Caustic (the infamously well known top-raid guild on our server) win.. Fuck that.)
I think they're nice for single target deals, but, they're going to get rocked by mages and warlocks, and shadow priests at that, in end-game. Though, I wouldn't take an oomkin raiding unless we had a shadowpriest, simply so they got the mana back. Mainly because gearing for an oomkin just sucks ass.

All I read up above was "shadow priests can heal, except past 60..." - wrong. Like I said, I was shadow until I was 70, and I had easily healed for every instance during the way. It's just all about how well you're able to pay attention to health, and stuff. I don't think I remembered much about any pre-70 5 man, except for boss fights, because all I did was look at HP bars.

All dependent on the player, I guess. Though, i don't ever assume that a shadowpriest can heal things like SH, but, I wouldn't ask one too, anyways. Their DPS is much more valuable.
And, <3 @ wires. I really never encounter that problem since our guild is really good about loot distribution. If someone hasn't gotten a drop in a while, our raid leader will distribute the loot accordingly. Everyone knows each other so well, loot's never an issue. :P

Yeah. But, I can't exactly say from experience that a shadowpriest *can't* heal it; thing is, by 70, if a shadow priest is anywhere near well geared, their DPS is going to be much more valuable than then healing. They can outdamage almost any equally geared class in the game, depending on circumstances. If I'm going to get a healer, my guild has an abundance of holy priests, I'd just ask one of them. :P
I guess it's kinda like asking an oomkin to heal. It's not like it's completely out of the question, I've had oomkin druids heal Black Morass and Steamvaults and such, but if someone is specced for damage, then I have them do damage. Like, I'd very rarely ask a non-prot tank to tank a heroic.. It's not like they can't, it's just that I'm not going to ask someone to do something that they purposefully specced out of? I guess?
