Title: JavaOp1
Post by: sujak on July 31, 2007, 08:20:01 PM
Soooo... is JavaOp1 ever gonna be updated for all this new crap? I mean its been down for AWHILE now, which makes me sad since it was my favorite bot to run on a FreeBSD shell... Wasn't as laggy as JavaOp2 and it kicked ass on Ops.

Anywho.. updated or no? you think.. if you could update it that would own.

Eww it's sujak... gtfo.

Anyways unless you can find someone to do it... I'm pretty sure it's not going to happen.

I haven't updated JavaOp1 in years, and I don't intend to.

But if you want to update it, I can provide the source.

I'm currently working on a small plugin based bot with a web interface. Its much lighter than JavaOp2, I have no idea about JavaOp1 though.

Screenies are here (http://www.frostbyte.co.nr/abnetbot). But its nowhere near complete yet.

Doesn't it come with source?

If not, http://www.javaop.com/~ron/code/javaop.tgz

Have fun :P

I have no intention of ever doing anything with JavaOp, ever. And by JavaOp, I mean the project, not JavaOp1 inclusively.

I'm going to write a plugin-based IRC client in C# eventually.

..Eventually.

I'd fix it for $$, but at the moment I'm busy developing my own web based minimal battle.net bot like I said earlier. If you bug me a bit, I'll add you to the beta testers list. ;)

I'll give you $10 for the project. And maybe a copy of Norton AV with my autograph on it! :)

lol!

I'm working on it anyway, switching it from rcrs to bnls, but keep getting an invalid game version response from battle.net. Maybe tomorrow I'll try again... its 10:00pm here and with my ADHD, there is no way I can concentrate any longer. Good night. *falls asleep on keyboard*

lawl, i just got booted from 2 hosts today for trying to get JavaOp2 up and running.

Excuse 1. You're taking up too much CPU space.

Reply: "No it will go down to .1% once i stop configuring it.."

Host #1

"You were injecting .sh and your program used more then 1% of CPU"

Reply: "That was java and it will go down to .1% or less once i stop configuring it"

Than he said he had a lot of people from battle.net asking about hosting, racists. No way am i getting a VPS.

iago's joke is much better if you realize that Norton is his (suckier) competitor.

What else would it have on it, next to your autograph?

QuoteSymantec fucking rocks!

EDIT -
Two things, sujak:

1. If you get a shell account to run JavaOp, you need to get a life. (Sorry)

2. Nothing written in Java, especially the size of JavaOp, will use under 0.1% of the CPU time, unless it's running 4x Quad Core processors or something godly like that.

Perhaps you don't realize it, but Symantec bought Nortan like 10 years ago. So I work for the company that makes Norton. The reason I offered is because I could get it for cheap!

And it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel is a freight train coming your way..

Turns out I have a need for JavaOp1 again, so I'm fixing it. No ETA.
