Title: Just a few questions
Post by: Artanis on October 18, 2007, 08:11:13 pm
-- First question --

# Adding Alias
/addalias website say www.website.com

User> .website
bot> www.website.com

Just as it's meant to, however in the following situation:

user> .website likes donkey balls
bot> www.website.com likes donkey balls

Is there a way to truncate the response to only which is specified in the alias?

-- Second question --
Is there a way to make certain aliases usable by any user? Even those without userflags?

-- Third Question --
Seriously can't remember this one atm, I'm sure it'll come to me sooner or later ;)

Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give ^^

Haha, that's clever. I don't think that's possible without making parameters to aliases impossible. All it's doing is giving extra parameters to the "say" comment. Maybe somebody else has another idea?

Yes, I believe so. But don't ask me how, it's been awhile. :-/

Finally, a question where I can give you the answer you expect! :)
