I am Ribose, using Firefox 3 on Windows XP.
I've been around on Battle.net and places and I met Joe, and wondered what x86 was. So later I saw a link to this site (in his signature from StealthBot.net IIRC), and said, hey why not.
So I've been poking around here recently! Hi all!

High School, Sophomore.

I wish, but I'm not going into details.
Are you in any other clans? What are they like (if applicable)?
I've been in many Battle.net clans, during the off-and-on times I play StarCraft (I'm pretty bad though), Diablo II (I'm alright, but I never get around to holding my characters). I am currently member of Clan BoT (USEast), a little clan containing mostly members of StealthBot.net (not oriented much with gaming, so I like it).
Any friends around here (members or otherwise)?

Why do you want to join?
Because I'm interested in logical stuff, programming, math; stuff that I've seen a lot of in these forums.

RTS all the way, but sometimes RPGs like Diablo II get me.

Do you have something against 6-carbon sugars? Do you enjoy glucose? What are your thoughts on ATP? What's your PIN? Fermentation or aerobic respiration? Do you have something against deoxyribose? By extension, do you prefer RNA over DNA?

Hah, man, you own. It's awesome to hear nerdy talk that isn't math/CS. I hear it so much I'm starting to consider it drivel if it isn't especially entertaining.

Interesting fact: 41% (12/29) of x86's members were at one time staff members and regulars at stealthbot.net. Six members were at one time administrators, with the remaining 6 at one time some form of moderator.

That's sad (:P), but not surprising, since part of this community started as a bot development one (ie, people using/testing JavaOp/JBBot). There are at least a couple people here (Ergot comes to mind) who I met that way.

6 carbon sugars are ugly and taste bad, so yes. Glucose is the devil. ATP? Is that some four-wheeler company? "All Terrain Pwnage"? My pin for my bank account is 10585. I don't like breathing, it's too energy consuming. Deoxyribose sucks, it lets people like me live. RNA and DNA are evil and God says they can't exist.

and 1 x86 member was a Leader for Stealth's World of Warcraft Guild. :D

If you're talking about yourself, you were a moderator there for quite a while. I seem to remember "Eccentric's Slave" or something like that back on the Land Down Under boards of '02. :P

Sweet! Did you go to New Hampshire a few weeks ago to compete? My team did. Messalonskee Highschool (Rhabacon) or something like that... I never actually memorized our team's name.. lol

I've returned from the Greater Toronto Regional! Although my team, Aces High, didn't win it like last year.

Heh, I live in the GTA (Where you were). It's a pretty good area for jobs/stuff. :)

GTA was a great game, sure, but LIVING in it? A bit nerdy IMO.
