Alright, something got fucked up.
my roommates Hard drive lost its drive info for C
The partition is still there
The data is still there
I jsut can't get it to boot because Windows thinks its a RAW partition.
So, any tips on how to fix the partition without fucking up the data?

Remind me later tonight (around 11, probably) and I'll send you Active@ Boot Disk. There's a partition recovery thing on there that found old files even after I'd installed Linux over my Windows partition. It should have you back in shape in a few minutes.

Dell's shit of a recovery console doesnt have fixboot/mbr
I can get a few things that see it as a damaged partition, partition magic says its error 105 w/e that is.
But ill be back in town friday then packin the weekend so if you can gives me directions to try fri when i get home i will. but worst, ill just install xp on an al drive and recov/format the old one.
