I most often use nano(pico) because im just changing something in a config file or such and have no real need for super fancy features. If im forced to code something ill use the VIs, but I prefer to do all my coding in IDEs.

Too bad that story makes no sense what so ever. Why would Saddam suddenly stop shooting and surrender peacefully even after the Marines hit him with their rifles? Also, people in the military aren't cops. Taking people alive isn't part of their training, they shoot to kill if fired upon.
