Well is there some setting that needs to be set that I am missing or what? Maybe it is just not possible I do not know. Also I am missing a lot of dependencies and I have been manually installing them all, anyone know a easy way to do somesort of bulk install.

Hello,

I am running Slackware 10.2 and I have been trying to get my dual montiors working on it. For some reason no matter what I do it continues to run a mirrored image.

Personally I would have to say an open source project is not about the pay, it is about the outcome at the end. When a programmer gets a sense of recognition, that alone is the pay. It introduces the programmer into the world of business where a lot of companies look over there accomplishments and then hire them.

Windows Server is stable.
Windows is stable.

It's not the operating system, it's the user.

And that is coming from someone who uses Slackware Linux 95% of the time.

Have you even checked the "How to join" section of the forums?

That would be your best bet in joining if you still do.  But, if you can just say you don't want to join now because it was too hard, then you wouldn't be a very good member anyways.

If you didn't notice this topic was moved into the 'I would like to Join'. It was originally startedf before that Category existed.

Hmm... I have never used it... However I know that on all of my customers dedicated servers they usually ask me to install APF or iptables. However do not install both of those together. You are looking for trouble. They are basically the same thing.
