A hashtable/vector/hasmap/etc just makes it easy to use a built in class to store retrieve data. They all work with user-defined data types too so doing something like Hashtable<String, UserScoreClass> is perfectly fine. If your custom class implements Comparable, you can use the built-in methods to do sorting, iterating, etc too!I'd totally forgotten all about implements Comparable. Maybe I should dig out of of those old text book things
