General Discussion / Re: iPhone

It doesn't seem too bad, but no video recording?? That takes away some fun.  I guess if I compared the iPhone to comparable phones like those in the Nokia N-Series, I'd stick with the N-Series.  A good one's the N95.

I wasn't debating legality, but like my response says in the split-off topic, since these forums have been bombarded with the issue, I can tell why it got moved without much consideration.

It's the fact that the legality of these things are what they are that make these people act the way they do.  It is what it is.

You see, this law is good.  Though it won't be enforced easily, cops should be able to have a new radar that detects these noobs' phones and scans for pc4pc in text messages they send while driving.  And hey, it turns out the cool kids send text messages more than they talk on the phone.  I hope they don't pass a red light while sending "pc4pc" and get rammed by a Ford F-350.  Which would be even funnier if a person simultaneously sends the text message with a picture taken by the phone's camera as the truck rams into the car.  gg no resurrection

I've got a lot of research to do (while I'm in Bangladesh, this might be possible) before I make informed decisions.

Thanks for the welcomes ^^

I notice that you posted like 5 hours earlier on vL's forum. And you posted more there. What up with that? :P

Since I've been gone for a long while, vL seems to be the "hub" I thought of first since that's all I've remained connected to besides some parts.  But I'm always looking around for other perspectives, and it looks like this place is more active.  The only thing is I can't say I'll ever be as active on the Internet as I was before I graduated high school.

Newby told me to join these forums a while back, and I might have before.  I forget, but here I am anyway.  It's summertime, and I have a lot of downtime as well as an Internet connection-- I think that's a good reason to start roaming around here.  I've used Battle.net since 1998, been in clans since 1999, and "departed" in 2004 after I started attending college.  I'm graduating this December, and now I've decided that the best times I had concerning career-related stuff was on Battle.net and the community I met there (leaving it in 2004 to go study in a related interest field is rather ironic)... so since I'm pretty sure I've had a chat or two with several of you, this seems like a good place to go around.  It seems a little more active than other areas I've been scouting.  That's my introduction.
