Treading the ground
I once used to know
People are strangers
Same as before
Streets look familiar
I remember the part
Where I buried my head
So deep in my hands
All around me was dark

This here city
Is for the lonely ones
Won't find no angels
Selling maps to the lost
This here place
Is too small for two
It took one to realize
When dreaming's this hard
It's not meant to come true

So throw me a line
Somebody out there help me
I'm on my own
I'm on my own
Throw me a line
Afraid that I have come here
To win you again
With trembling hands

Passing the days
Looking over the buildings
Time seems to stop
While the millions keep moving
Now here I am
I'm a drop in your ocean
Noise in the crowd
Pushing through your halls of reason

Ohh

So throw me a line
Somebody out there help me
I'm on my own
I'm on my own
Throw me a line
Afraid that I have come here
To win you again
With trembling hands

Hear me now make me whole
Hear me now make me whole

So throw me a line
Somebody out there help me
I'm on my own
I'm on my own
Throw me a line
Afraid that I have come here
To win you again
With trembling hands
With trembling hands

There goes the ending
It left me in the war
But I tried everything yeah
I am done with my part
Song: Trembling Hands

I hurt myself today
To see if I still feel
I focus on the pain
The only thing that's real
The needle tears a hole
The old familiar sting
Try to kill it all away
But I remember everything

[Chorus:]
What have I become
My sweetest friend
Everyone I know goes away
In the end
And you could have it all
My empire of dirt
I will let you down
I will make you hurt

I wear this crown of thorns
Upon my liar's chair
Full of broken thoughts
I cannot repair
Beneath the stains of time
The feelings disappear
You are someone else
I am still right here

[Chorus:]
What have I become
My sweetest friend
Everyone I know goes away
In the end
And you could have it all
My empire of dirt
I will let you down
I will make you hurt

If I could start again
A million miles away
I would keep myself
I would find a way
Artist: Johnny Cash (originally by Nine Inch Nails)
Song: Hurt

"Hurt" is a little more on the emo side than I am used to.  However, the song is so well written and Mr. Cash does such a fantastic job delivering it that I couldn't help but fall in love with the song.

Congrats rabbit!!  That's fantastic!

I want to do a ToughMudder really bad!  I did the Living History Farms race up here in Iowa and it's similar-ish to the Toughmudder.  Literally one of the most enjoyable events I have been to in a long while.

iago takes the win for creepy.

my buddy apparently isnt totally on board with his brother being homosexual. he accepts it and is fine, it just seems like its a shock. we were all at a wedding last week, and my bud got super hammered and he made some joke that ended with "gays arent people." it was totally joking, but I think it hasnt totally hit him.  we're all fairly conservative (more than fairly, but in a libertarian way). i think the news jacked with his perception of his family.  he is also army, and was against the ending of DADT.  to me, DADT seemed segregation-esque (bud is black). why exclude someone for what they are? beats me.

that said. I shared a fairly intense bro-kiss with a dude at the wedding. we're all mad-close, but just met him at wedding stuff. we all share bro hugs/kisses. well, this dude took the bro-kiss to a new level (ie, I was salivated upon). he is totally straight (apparently), but that bro-kiss was...yeah. my kips = closed, but his = open. since my gf has been out of town for about 5 weeks, it was the most action I'd had in a while. I felt weird. But, ya know what, it was bro-love. props that people can just be chill nowdays.

Yeah, I don't think you can really kiss someone on the lips in a nonsexual way... it is a sexual act.   But yeah, good not to be too uptight as long as it works for you...

I think there's a bit of dissonance about libertarians being homophobic... but welcome to politics, where nothing really makes sense.
I gave him a blowjob, but it was totally nonsexual. I didn't swallow. No homo!
Lmfao!  That's totally straight.

Thanks Chavo!  I appreciate it! I'll have to take a look at those once I get my phone to stop hating me.  First the drivers didn't want to install. I *think* I got that figured out.  Now, whenever I plug my phone in it says Hardware ID Missing (no idea if that is related to the first problem).  Blah.  This seems to be typical for me.  I tend to have bad luck with stuff like this. I'll do some research on how to fix the problem a little later. Hopefully it all works out.  I'd love to be able to root the phone.  I think it would be a great learning experience.

Both.

I'm going to try and root my phone so I can play around with it a little more.  So if you have any suggestions on what to do once I root it I'd take those as well. :)

As the title alludes to I just bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 from AT&T. Does anyone else have one or does anyone have much experience with the phone?  If so, what kinds of things do you suggest I do with it, what apps do you enjoy, etc.  I had the original Samsung Galaxy S, but I didn't do much more than just download games for it.  I'd like to tinker with this one a little more.

In northern Iowa, huh?  Where abouts?

I'm located near Mason City, it's about 45 minutes from the Iowa / Minnesota border.
Ah, cool. I'm in Des Moines. :)

I was just at Jordan Creek in West Des Moines Wed for a business meeting, Did you relocate to Des Moines or have you always been there?
Oh wow.  You were close.  I have lived in Des Moines now for a little over a year. I'm going to DMU.

I was going to try and play Devil's Advocate but that just isn't going to happen, lol.

People and companies have a right to support whatever causes they want without government interference. People have a right to tell them to fuck off, also without government interference. </thread>
I agree to an extent.  Some causes, such as child trafficking, should have government interference to stop it.  However, I agree that in this particular situation government interference is not at all warranted.

People who think buying Chic-Fil-A supports free speech are fucking dumb.

Go.
For the sake of arguing, why?
