We got a dog!!!



Her name is Raven... Don't blame me, I didn't pick it. This is officially my first pet evar, minus the couple of fish I had when I was five.

She came from a really crazy home (they were mentally handicapped apparently, stabbed the other dog to death :-/ ) so she's been living at a shelter for the last month. She's surprisingly super loving and friendly, and doesn't really get into a lot despite how untrained she is. I'll have to take her to classes, but it won't be necessarily a bad thing because I know little to nothing about owning a dog. I'm just lucky that my boyfriend's mother owns a pet store. She's the one that hooked us up with her.

Pffft! Celsius gives me a headache. I totally turned the thermostat to 28 degrees the other day because... I'm an idiot. Only easy explanation.

I'm really looking forward to seeing it. I think that's one that the significant-other and I are gonna get off our butts to go see in the theater. I was a bit skeptical when I saw Tom Cruise as the lead role, but the previews seemed pretty awesome. Glad to hear it isn't a waste of money!

I'm surprised it doesn't cap how many times it counts a view from the same IP in a certain time period.

It is kinda weird and suspicious if someone has a billion views and one comment.

Yeah, that's a bit weird. But, since pageviews don't really mean anything, I'm not sure if dA would flip out over someone using a bot to give views, but it does look really suspicious.. Especially when all my other drawings only have about 50-100 views each.

And... I really hope you aren't using some sort of hack or program to give me pageviews, Newb, it might be seen as exploiting and get my account banned or something. I'm not positive, but don't make me paranoid! Besides, I was more just going 'Hey, look at my pretty gallery!' If you really wanna rack up my views, do it on the main page, http://kaleeko.deviantart.com/ . Not that it really matters. Pageviews don't really award me anything but a sense of pride and accomplishment. *cough*

Thanks to you both!

I just using pencil+paper for the lineart, and did the coloring in Photoshop with a tablet. The boobs could probably stand to be bigger, but we wouldn't want me jealous of how well endowed my artwork is, now do we?

So, I was looking at my gallery stats on dA, and went 'whoa!' when I realized that one of my drawings have almost 700 views! Yeah. That's pretty amazing, for me. So.

I don't care what anyone else does to themselves, smoking included. If they want to fuck themselves up with drugs, unprotected sex, etc etc... That's cool. If someone feels the need to do it in the first place, isn't it assumed that they won't listen to any reasonable arguments from people telling them not to? There's so much "education" on the matters in schools these days, people are making educated enough decisions to be able to decide what they do and don't do to themselves.

Arguing about it seems a wee bit silly to me.
