People will still do it, though. Probably not you or me, but definitely lots of people, even if it costs upwards of $50.

Man, crossing the border to Canada really sucks. My family and I went to Toronto, ON for a couple of days. On our first trip there, we forgot my Dad's green card. So the Canadian border agents took us into immigration services, blah blah and gave us a official letter to give to the US border agents explaining how we forgot green card so allow us back into the United States (because we didn't have the green card). So we get turned back around, and on our way back into the US, they detain us. They start searching our car and us. I told them we never made it into Canada, as the letter stated. They kept us in a room for three hours.. THREE hours. I mean, what are they doing for three hours? They come back and tell us we can go back into the US. So we drive back home, and come back with the green card. Once again, they detain us. WHY? I mean, it wasn't for that long, but they make us get out of our car into the immigration services room. Good thing, it was only for about 20 minutes (maybe cause it was Canada we were trying to enter. On our way back into the US a couple days later, same damn thing. They make us wait, search us, blah blah blah. This time it was for 2 hours. I mean, we have all our proper documentation.. our UNITED STATES passports and my Dad's green card. Last time we go to Canada, lol.

I don't know if anyone has been keeping up with SC2 developments, but it's been delayed until "the first half of 2010." It was on Slashdot yesterday. I believe they said that SC2 is ready for beta, but they're just working on Battle.net 2.0.

I went with the Asus. I just hope the battery life isn't horrid. Hoping between 2 to 3 hours.

I've narrowed my long search for a laptop down to two, unless someone else can recommend a similar laptop to the ones I'm 'bout to mention.

I guess overall, I'm just trying to decide which brand is more reputable as longevity: Asus or lenovo. Many people (and from my experience) have said stay away from Dells. HP's are ugly. Acer are known for cheap, but not good for long lasting. Toshibas are too expensive. So on and so forth...

What do you guys think? <3
Thanks, you guys are the best!  :)

What do you guys think of these two laptops? The first one is a better deal, but it seems awfully bulky and heavy. It's mainly for school use -- so it should be pretty lightweight and portable. Is 7.71lbs for a laptop heavy? 15.71" x 11.5" x 1.61-1.73" vs. 16.14" x 11.25" x 1.37-1.63"
