General Discussion / My first accident (hit and run)
« on: March 13, 2009, 11:10:47 pm »
I had my first accident today. I'm almost certain it was my fault. I was turning left into a one way street. I thought that car was turning right (I thought that car has it's blinkers on, but I'm not sure). My friends say that because that car didn't turn into the lane closest, so it's their fault. But I'm not quite sure if that car was even turning. I don't remember all too much.

But nevertheless, immediately I pulled over and stopped to inspect the damage on my car. Then I realized I was obstructing traffic, so I pulled into the closest parking lot. When I got into the parking lot, I got out again and inspected the damage. I did that all in about 3-7 minutes. I then realized that the car that hit me wasn't anywhere near me. So I drove away. The thing is, I thought maybe that person pulled into another parking lot or something and was doing the same thing as me. But I didn't see that car, so I just drove away.

The only damaged that was on my car was that the car hit me directly on the tire, so only my tire was fucked up. So I put in the spare that was in my trunk and all is good. I told my parents I hit a pothole and yeah.......

I'm just concerned about the hitting and running business. Any advise/tips/whatever?

General Discussion / My computer broke
« on: August 01, 2008, 06:05:37 pm »
My computer turns on fine and it sounds fine, but my monitor is all black. I tried taking a monitor from my other computer and plugging it in, but still, nothing showed. So, I don't think it's a monitor problem. I could be wrong. I'm thinking it's either a video card or a mobo problem. How do I figure out which it is? I don't want to drop a couple hundred bucks on something that won't fix my computer. And bear in mind, I don't really know how to take stuff apart in my computer  :P.

Thank ya mucho!

Entertainment District / Hellboy II: Possibly the....
« on: July 11, 2008, 11:59:33 pm »
shittiest movie I've ever seen in my life. There were many unnecessary parts added in order to lengthen the movie. The ending was stupid. And there were too many cliche parts for my liking.

Do not see this movie.

General Discussion / OSx86
« on: May 15, 2008, 08:47:05 pm »
Has anyone ever tried doing this? It's pretty much a patched version of OSX that allows for it to be installed on any PC rather than just Apple computers. I've been wanting to do this for quite some time, but my specific hardware was finally patched recently.

General Discussion / marijuana, cedar point, and stupidity

I was on that Cedar Point trip with my class.. it kind of sucked (because we didn't get a refund) and funny (dumb kids who thought it would be okay to bring it to a SCHOOL-SPONSORED event). We had cops swarming the school this morning with reporters interviewing kids after school (lol).

General Discussion / Dell sucks!
« on: December 22, 2007, 10:23:39 pm »
So, I decided to get rid of Vista and replace it with XP.

The installation went smoothly and the problems arose when I first booted in. My video card, network drivers, and sound card drivers weren't installed. I stuck in my driver CD I got from Dell when I first bought my computer a year ago or so (my computer came with Vista). And, I soon realized... the driver CD was just for Vista! I couldn't get on the internet to get the drivers online because the network driver was on the CD and it was just for Vista! So.. basically, I'm stuck! I re-installed Vista for now, but what should I do?

Blizzard, WoW and Bots / Transferring Characters
« on: November 26, 2007, 03:25:42 pm »
Say, hypothetically, my friend wants to give me his 70 Druid. I want to transfer that Druid to MY account. From my understanding, for the transfer to be approved, the accounts must have the same first and last name (Blizzard doesn't even allow transferring between family either). Is there a loophole to this? Any way I can find a way around this?  ???

General Discussion / Vista Parition
« on: October 27, 2007, 11:12:06 pm »
For some reason, I can't seem to be able to resize my Vista partition.

I tried Partition Magic 8. That failed. That just gave me an error 110 or something.

I tried GParted. That failed. That also gave me an error.

I tried Vista's parition tool, Disk Management. That just greyed out the ability to resize my partition. I tried diskpart.exe from command and that failed too. It kept saying I didn't have enough space when I had plenty.

Help?
