This person plays 36 WOW accounts at the same time...
a bit overkill in my opinion.

Math and Other Problems / Number organization
« on: December 14, 2006, 08:17:49 pm »
I read this in a book recently.

Numbers are often arranged in different ways, with zero before 1-9 and sometimes with it at the end, how are these numbers organized?

Academic / School / RPI
« on: December 01, 2006, 05:55:01 pm »
I just heard from RPI and I was accepted for next year. I applied ED so I am going there. I was wondering does anyone here goto RPI? I have heard stuff about different freshman dorms and wanted to know what anyone who goes there have to say. What the differences are, which you recommend, etc.

General Discussion / Cat-Dog (not the TV show)

Is this really even possible? A cat giving birth to puppies? I though dogs and cats were different species and thus couldn't mate.
Who thinks this is real? I'll personally believe it but I would like a little more proof. I mean interspecies breeding?

Read these articles, they are short, and tell me if you think the PS3 has caused people to to some pretty odd things.

This one is thrown in because it is funny. It compares the Wii and PS3 via Apple vs. Microsoft type add.

I could go on but these are enough to prove my point. The PS3 release is a mad burst of crazy money hungry people and way too dedicated gamers.

Math and Other Problems / Colored Pi
« on: November 14, 2006, 09:57:29 pm »
This is interesting. "Each of the 10 possible decimals of the number pi is displayed by a distinct colored pixel." The decimal point isn't there in case you feel pointing that out. I was bored in my 5th period so I confirmed most of the first line.

Introductions! / Hiya
« on: November 12, 2006, 08:39:38 am »
I'm Andrew. I am from Miami, Fl. I am 17. I am a big nerd. I 12th grade and in MultiVariable Calculus/Differential Equations Dual Enrollment. I am in the Math Honor Society (Mu Alpha Theta), the American Technology Honor Society, Chess Club, Bridge Club (the card game), I was in math club till it folded itself into Mu Alpha Theta, and I was in JETS (Junior Engineering Technical Society) till it reformed into Physics Club, of which I am doubtful I will become a member of. I love math. I compete in math. I also love computers. I went to computer camp for 3 years, it was the best(too old to go back again next year). I dual boot Ubuntu and Windows XP Media Center Ed. I would like to use Ubuntu more but I can't get it work with my WIFI card and my house is wireless. I have a dog named Dawson and some fish in a fish tank (where else?)

My favorite quote is:"When I hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete, I see that the System Idle Process is hogging all the resources and chewing up 95 percent of the processor's cycles. Doing what? Doing nothing?"

And that's all.
