Lead's House of Shenanigans / Starcraft II Cheese Strategy (1v1, DT's)
« on: August 01, 2010, 11:42:23 pm »
So, this topic pretty much explains it all. I've been playing A LOT of SC2 lately, and winning a significant amount of my 1v1 games due to this. Basically what I do is send a worker early in the game to scout and place a proxy pylon in the other idiots base. I wall off my choke, and get 2 cannons. Early gas, quick DT's. If they kill the proxy pylon I get a warp prism, same effect, and usually it's gg (if you're not in Platinum/Diamond league that is).

I'll post a replay when I get home.

General Discussion / 4chan at it again
« on: July 28, 2009, 08:02:24 am »

Quote from my favorite part of the article:

Late on Sunday, sometime midway through the ban, a report surfaced on both CNN iReport and Digg claiming that AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson was dead (thank you Businessinsider for the image  ). It's not clear whether this was a 4chan users prank. The iReport suggested Stephenson was found "delirious" outside his home after a party with "male dancers everywhere and the best blow west of Mississippi."

Quite funny but sad. I guess you could say AT&T provoked it but 4chan will always be 4chan :(

So I was feeling quite crappy the other day, down, tired, and I walked into a corner store near me before work. I picked one of these bad boys out and took it around 2PM, and boy did it make me feel good! It walloped me with energy clear till almost 7:30PM, and made me feel really good (all the vitamin B12). I can highly recommend this to anyone who needs a good pick-me-up.

FAQ (My observations):

Q: How does it taste?
A: Like a melted orange Popsicle, if you get the orange flavor.

Q: Is there really no "crash" afterward?
A: Yes! There is NO crash whatsoever after it wears off. You don't even feel like shit.

Q: What were the effects like when you took it?
A: Personally, I didn't have one of those jittery, crazy effects. But it has been noted to make you sweat and get the jitters, along with rapid heart beat.

One of the major cons about this drink, although is the price. Here in Ohio, I pay ~3.50$ for a small bottle of it, which can get pricey. All in all, good for me and probably good for Newby since his bedtime is probably at 7PM. :)

If you have any questions about it feel free to ask!

General Discussion / How Wonderful...

Company got hit with the Conficker worm while I was on vacation. Although it is not directly my job to address it, one could only assume with all the machines we have how long it is going to take to remedy the problem.

It is causing some major havoc on our AD servers for some reason... disabling accounts randomly... weird.

Lead's House of Shenanigans / Awesome LDAP Search Script for Excel
« on: April 17, 2009, 11:17:27 am »

Reads entries from LDAP based on existing data (i.e. mail, cn, givenName) pending that you have the OU set correctly, and then dumps them into a new spreadsheet or puts the data in the current one. You can even customize the fields you grab in the config file. VERY helpful tool (at least to me).
