Or be "uber" and use ImageMagick:

I think it is faster, but not as easy to code.

You do realize SMF already has an RSS feed, right?

Hehe.. really? I looked for it in the help and could not find it and I searched the offical mod database and found nothing...

You can export the board as RSS, but that is not a live feed. Even if it was built in, I plan on adding quiet a few things to my little script..

After about 30 minutes of work, I was capable of producing this: http://marcusfamily.info/~ryan/SMF2RSS.zip

It takes all the posts on a SMF board and turns it into a RSS feed.

Example feed: http://marcusfamily.info/~ryan/rss/

There is still a lot of work to be done, but it is getting there! :)

New Project Announcements / Re: Luxer: Mac Binary Bot!

Linux version coming soon! ;)

I mainly just posted it here because most of my old users who ran away after I took a year long break (you try doing something for three years and see if you want to do something else) read these forums. Essentialy, I just bumed some free ad space... but what else are these forums for?

Its called open source for a reason... and I still had to write the plugin! ;)

Hello people!

I'm proud(ish) to annouce the return of my bot, Luxer, which is currently the only working mac-only binary bot!

Download information here: http://marcusfamily.info/~ryan/forums/index.php/topic,15.0.html

I'd very much appreciate any feedback!

The rogue we interviewed was combat specced, but I want to go through all the classes before I get really specific with one.

I don't have a picture, but you can all look at my gear and wish you had it: http://marcusfamily.info/~ryan/MyHunter'sEQ.txt

(And yes, my guild was newby enough to let me make the Thunderfury and not our tank, and yes, I know there are better weapons for my class, and yes, it looks sweet.)

Hey everybody, sorry I have not posted for a while.

I've been doing a podcast for a while now, and I am looking for somebody to interview (who is not a rogue, already did them) that really knows there class well. You don't have to be level 60.

Reply here, PM me, AIM me, or email me if your interested, it would be a big help!

General Discussion / Re: MySpace not TOTALLY useless..
« on: March 29, 2006, 11:11:34 am »
Why do we curse the blessed forums of x86 with the fiery and hellish things that are MySpace?

I'm the police are finally catching on... Darwinism in action! (And thus it is proven. Those who use MySpace are bound never to reproduce due to the fact that they suck.)

This is nothing new.. Apple does something, Mr. Gates goes "WTF! Do that guys!", and a new OS is born...
