I can double that down, but you beat me in up.  Damn you, iago!  (It's totally a contest now, btw)

I'd like to take this moment to express my deep hatred for AT&T:

It's advertised at 10/1 in my area, but, well, you know, AT&T actually providing what it advertises? Unheard of.
Sadly it's the only non-dialup connection available here right now, so they're able to get away with it :(

The more I read about this, the more I want it. Too bad Verizon has a boner for charging $500+ for phones without a contract renewal.

I've been looking for an excuse to throw my Blackberry Storm in the garbage, if this thing isn't TOO pricey I might pick it up. My 2 year crap won't be up for quite awhile ;[

I've got a friend with the ABS M1 -- the hardware issues with it only responding to one key press at a time are fixed. It's a really nice keyboard and won't be on sale forever, I'd recommend it. I've thought about getting one for myself.

Blizzard, WoW and Bots / Re: I've been clean for three months

Eh, just remember why you quit the first time and realize that Blizzard only desires to milk the game for money at this point, so nothing has actually changed. I'd go play again right now if they released a classic-only server, but they've really let the game go. I'm just sitting content with 48172471 movie torrents until a good game is released, I'm hoping Modern Warfare 2 or Starcraft 2 fills that void.

I enjoy having an "all-in-one device" in my Blackberry. I usually leave my iPod at home these days and am considering selling it and just buying a bigger SD card for my phone instead. If I want to perform a quick google search, it's at my finger tips. With a 3.2 megapixel camera I don't feel like I have to buy a disposable whenever I go on a trip. I can check my email, chat on AIM, etc from any location. Sometimes having a more complex device is a good thing and can be incredibly handy.

How far do you have to take it? What if every cell phone was ONLY a cell phone, and didn't even have the basic feature of a clock? Suddenly everyone needs to buy a watch.

Where?  They're all damned computers now-a-days! I used to have an old Nokia that resembled a real phone, but they don't make it anymore.  It had the most useful non-phone feature though.  A flash light!  Can't say I have ever needed or used the camera on my new phone...

Ever seen the flash on the Blackberry Storm's camera? Damn thing is more then a flashlight, it could light up a football stadium.  :P

Consider, for example, Google Chrome.  The interface shears off most functionality most people don't use.  It's simple and its (almost) perfect.  By contrast, I feel like other web browsers are cluttered with crap I don't use or need.

I remember seeing a firefox plugin once to control winamp ... what the hell? Is it so difficult to press alt+tab to do that? A browser is hardly a cell phone, though.

I went to class, went back home, fell asleep for six hours, and played Left 4 Dead until... *checks* 2:45AM. Now to fall asleep and repeat! :)

I've got a 1000h, and I'm fairly happy with it for basic uses such as taking notes in class. I've had no issues whatsoever with the wireless, and I've never even used the bluetooth. The unit does feel a little "cheap", but not too bad -- it doesn't feel like a thin piece of offbrand plastic, but it doesn't feel like a $4000 alienware, either. Keep in mind that you're buying a 1.6ghz atom with integrated graphics, though... even youtube lags a little without being in high performance mode. I plan to eventually get rid of it and buy something more powerful. If you don't plan to use it for anything too heavy, though, then go for it! It's definitely a conversation starter with how small it is.

Alright, cool, Thanks c0Ld. That's mostly what I was wondering, but, does your machine have the option to change the boot order to boot from the USB before the Hard Drive?

Yes, I've booted from usb with it before.

I saw one of these at a store a week or so ago. I tried to type on it and thought it would fucking annoy me with such a small keyboard if I owned one lol.

I got used to it pretty quick.
