But I think he was just taking it because it was an AP class, not because it was something he was actually interested in...

I know shitstabbers like that. Well, that I can live with. It's the fucks who grub over their grades and strive for anything that'll make it easier for them to get an A. Can't handle tests? Your 4.5 GPA isn't going to be anywhere near that close in college where homework doesn't account for 50% of your freaking grade. :|
Hey, dont diss us shitstabbers who do anything for the easy As (such as stab shit, or threaten to stab our shitty teachers). Its the only way to get into med school! But yea anyone who can't handle tests is pretty much fucked in college. I took a class over the summer where our final exam was half our grade. Everyone sucked it up too, we had one test where the average was 65%.

Your parents decided medicine would be a good career for you? I'm so sorry.
I choose medicine on my own. Math would be interesting, but pretty much all you could do is become a professor which would suck as a job. And I've tried sitting around doing computer science at my computer and it isnt very exciting.

At one of the dining halls at my school, my friend got a salad dressing with an expiration date of something/something/2006. He took it to the cashier and complained but the cashier spent 5 minutes arguing that the date was really 2008. When we saw the movie afterwards, the part with Apu doing the same thing was hilarious.

I like the story and the ownage (like when Bourne calls the cops on the backup), but the camera is HELLA annoying. worth seeing though.

General Discussion / Whats been happening...
« on: April 29, 2007, 01:10:00 am »
So, its been a LOONG while since I posted here, mainly because my school blocks port 81. But I figured since it was the weekend (and since ZeroX reminded me), I could post and tell you all whats been going on and what will be going on with me, since I probably wont post again for a while. Next year I'll be starting college at Cornell, doing bioengineering. I've kinda shifted away from computer sciency stuff and more towards pre-med. But I'm still going to the TCHS finals and the ACSL All-Star thing (if any of your schools do ACSL), so hit me up if you're going. If anyone wants to talk (or is going to Cornell/TCHS finals/ACSL and wants to meet), remember I have aim, fman2k3. Otherwise, good luck to you all if I don't get a chance to say so again! (probably would be a good time to mark me inactive)

« on: August 17, 2006, 04:29:05 pm »
So, I got my second 320 GB Western Digital hard drive today. Anyway, with my external that makes 700+ GB of actual storage space. Gotta love the people on the internet for uploading to rapidshare so much stuff that's worth having ;)
Heres the drive i got: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822136003

Anyone have a personal favorite drive manufacturer? How much space do you all have on your systems?

General Discussion / Windows Vista
« on: August 16, 2006, 11:27:20 am »
I know lots of people here hate windows and don't use it, but for those of us who do, does anyone know what kind of graphics card is required for all the high scale graphics that they have? I've got a 7600 GT, and was certain it could handle the cool effects, but someone told me it might not be able to. Any idea?

Seriously, a 5 on an AP exam isn't like some rarity. Most people who spend any amount of time studying at all will get 5s on their AP exams. Don't feel like you can't do as well as him, I mean you both have the same genes, you'll probably be able to do just as well. Maybe take 1 AP course early on to get the feel for the exam and then load up later on. You'll be fine, I'm sure.
