So, its been a LOONG while since I posted here, mainly because my school blocks port 81. But I figured since it was the weekend (and since ZeroX reminded me), I could post and tell you all whats been going on and what will be going on with me, since I probably wont post again for a while. Next year I'll be starting college at Cornell, doing bioengineering. I've kinda shifted away from computer sciency stuff and more towards pre-med. But I'm still going to the TCHS finals and the ACSL All-Star thing (if any of your schools do ACSL), so hit me up if you're going. If anyone wants to talk (or is going to Cornell/TCHS finals/ACSL and wants to meet), remember I have aim, fman2k3. Otherwise, good luck to you all if I don't get a chance to say so again! (probably would be a good time to mark me inactive)

General Discussion / My New Hard drive came today :D

So, I got my second 320 GB Western Digital hard drive today. Anyway, with my external that makes 700+ GB of actual storage space. Gotta love the people on the internet for uploading to rapidshare so much stuff that's worth having

I know lots of people here hate windows and don't use it, but for those of us who do, does anyone know what kind of graphics card is required for all the high scale graphics that they have? I've got a 7600 GT, and was certain it could handle the cool effects, but someone told me it might not be able to. Any idea?

For intro to cs I'm thinking of making a graphical chess game for our final project (we're free to make any game). I'm trying to think of ways to make a good AI computor. Any ideas on how to program it? I'm not looking for any code, I just want ideas. Getting code would be cheating =/

If you like rap, get any album by him, I'm serious, I have 7 and they are all great. His best are probably Absolute Power, and Vintage Tech. I have yet to find a song by him that I had to skip because I hated it. His flow is amazing compared to commerical rappers today. And unlike most songs you'll hear on the radio, this guy doesn't make all his songs about rims and how he makes more money than you. His lyrics are pretty damn tight too, like these from one of my favorite songs, Slacker, on Absolute Power:

Entertainment District / Bow Wow - Wanted

Okay, I don't say this a lot, but this CD really blows. If you have any other Bow Wow/Lil' Bow Wow albums then you don't need this one, because he uses the same lyrics on each one. Sure there are some songs that aren't completly terrible, but overall I'd rate this album much less than so-so. 4/10.

1. Do You - Yea, I'm sure many people really wanna be like you Bow Wow. Still its an okay song compared to the rest of this album. 4/10.
2. Big Dreams - This song isn't bad imho. 6/10.
3. Let Me Hold You - First single, reminds me a lot of Alchemist's Hold You Down. 6/10.
4. Fresh Azimiz - Didn't he say he was rich as my dad some other time? I thought maybe J-Kwon would get more than half of the chorus too. Then maybe the song would be good. 4/10.
5. Caviar - Snoop Dogg's verse is the best in this song, and that verse isnt very good itself. 4/10.
6. Like You - This song sucks. Just because you're dating doesn't mean you'll sound good together. 2/10.
7. B.O.W. - Ugh...1/10.
8. Go - My favorite song, personally. 7/10.
9. Do What It Do - Repetative and boring. 2/10.
10. Is That You - Okay, I guess...4/10.
11. Mo Money - This song would be horrible if it was just 9 minutes of Bow Wow. 4/10.
