iago's forum / Re: Boom!
« on: October 01, 2005, 03:48:03 pm »
My harddrive bombed when I shut down my computer in "the wrong way."  The registry pooped out on me... it was a pain to restore.

But anyway -- I think UPS' are worth the extra money.  Especially for servers.  However, the power probably goes out a lot less often in iago's area than it does mine, so it's probably not nearly as useful for him.  :)

It's went down twice since I've been hosting a server.  And the first time was for about 6 hours.
AKA the unhappiest six hours of my life.

If you like rap, get any album by him, I'm serious, I have 7 and they are all great. His best are probably Absolute Power, and Vintage Tech. I have yet to find a song by him that I had to skip because I hated it. His flow is amazing compared to commerical rappers today. And unlike most songs you'll hear on the radio, this guy doesn't make all his songs about rims and how he makes more money than you. His lyrics are pretty damn tight too, like these from one of my favorite songs, Slacker, on Absolute Power:
"Get to the party and my homies gotta pay 4 me
Holidays them just be another day 4 me
Getting' drunk hoping I get to the crilla safely
Pray 4 me cause I'm needing money majorly
I sit at home watching MTV
Wit a empty P.O.C.K.E.T.I MP3
Everything that I hear on the streets
Never buy it don't deny it
I'm the fear Imma beast
You say get a job, I say hit a knob
Cause the way you run the world, is every bit of fraud
So what you ask of me? You get no tax from me
I got whites native and Mexican and blacks with me
I'm tryin' to get up there with Master P. pass the D.
Cause that's the way it has to be
We bust 2 B free, we trust who be G.
So fuck who be glee, it sucks to be me"
Anyway, if you're looking for something new and good, go find one of his albums.

No man, go with the Sexy TI-94.

But in all seriousness, the 89 is pretty awesome.

I thought about getting an 84, since we CAN use it even though my courses ask for an 83. But then I found out that next year in AP Calc I'm going to (or so I heard) need an 89. Oh well.
Get an 89, i used to have an 83 but after switching to the 89 I just can't go back ;)

CO2 is Carbon Dioxide, true.  However -- Co2 is not, if you want to get technical.

Yeah, but I don't think you'd find Co2, at least, not commonly.  Cobalt Chloride comes to mind as a normal compound, but that's CoCl2.  Given that cobalt in its normal state has 2 electrons in its outer shell, moving to 4 (having 2 cobolt ions together) would lend instability to the cobalt particle.

Quik, what did you edit?
Co2 isn't what he wrote though, he wrote Co2, which could indicate Co2, CO2, or Co2 , with the 2 representing a 2+ charge, and assuming that he meant Co2+ is much more reasonable than assuming he meant Co2. But all in all, he probably meant CO2.

None of them are my teachers. In fact, I don't know any of my teachers, because I just graduated. =p

Well obviously they aren't your teachers. And it doesn't mean that you never had a sexual fantasy for one of your teachers ;). What I'm saying is, this is the closest link you have in order to fulfill your sexual fantasy for teachers you've had in the past, and will have in the future. This is the only place where they act like they are teachers, and suck a student's cock for having bad attendance records, or bullshit like that. Don't deny it, you must have had a fantasy for at least one teacher. I have before... because some teachers are fine as hell. Just makes you wanna hit that ass. And to dig deeper in the psychology, her being a teacher and it being totally illegal to have sex with her is what drives you even further. Don't deny it, it's pretty obvious.

Rap sucks.  End of discussion.
Wow, although I disagree with you, I do have to commend your open mindedness. I hope some day you get lost and find yourself in a ghetto, and get shot due to your inability to prevent yourself from expressing how much you hate rap. Too bad that will never happen, since apparently you run at the sight of black people.
