Anyone ever played this game? I've never rages so much before. Easily one of the best ps3 games ever, if you like challenges.

This article sums up the game perfectly: http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/acz2t/let_me_tell_you_about_demons_souls/

Only problem is, it requires a 6-pin power connector.
Not an issue.  The 6 pin connector is just two standard 4 pin connectors and it's easy to find an adapter.
Yes, it's not really a problem unless he doesn't have the adapter.  I'm pretty sure most video cards come with them now though.

Probably want to check the amperage on the power supply too.
edit: You'll forgive me for being less than nice about this, but misinformation regarding computer support in general is a huge problem that wouldn't exist if people wouldn't inform others without knowing what they are talking about first.

Seeing how most computer manufactures don't put very big psus in their computers, it still wouldn't hurt to check.  I don't know a lot about electronics, but I'm pretty sure you don't want a psu with 12amps on the +12v rail powering a setup that consumes up to 15 (not saying this is the case for him).

If you're willing to spend a little more, this card is probably a step up for about the same price.  Only problem is, it requires a 6-pin power connector.

Also, make sure your power supply is powerful enough to support your graphics card.
Probably want to check the amperage on the power supply too.

So, I was at Staples today, and what do I see sitting on the shelf?  Fucking Wrath.  Yes, really.  I go to buy it and the person on Cash was like hrm.. "I didn't think this was supposed to be out for a couple more days" *just* as the manager walks buy.  He takes the copy I had, goes to the back room, comes back and tells me I can't buy it, as he removes the rest of the copies from the shelf.  I was about to punch the cashier in the face until I went through the skull, but laws made me just calmly leave the store.
Seems like a bunch of stores released the game yesterday.  Even if you got it, you wouldn't be able to play it till tomorrow. :P

Is it just me, or does the internet feel slow today...? Damn you world of warcraft!

Time to rebuild my beautiful yet horribly cluttered ui. I never quite finished making it perfect so maybe now is a good time to fix some of the things that bugged me :)

Or, well, whenever my server comes up QQ
Might have to fix it again when wotlk comes out. :P

they are merging all games + wow into one management system.
This.

At least with Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3.

The presence of Achievements in the impending Wrath of the Lich King expansion has been known about for some time now, but Kaplan also revealed today that these Achievements will be part of an overall Blizzard account that tracks players' progress across WOW, Diablo 3, and Starcraft 2. According to Kaplan, "Rather than call it a 'score,' we just wanted it to be like you're leveling up on Blizzard games... You'll have this Blizzard identity, and you'll be able to see things like 'Oh, this guy was great at Diablo III, but he never played Starcraft and he was mediocre in WOW'. That sort of thing."
