"They [record labels] had a chance to move forward, to evolve with technology and address the changing needs of consumers - and they didn't."

"...Oink was not only an absolute paradise for music fans, but it was unquestionably the most complete and most efficient music distribution model the world has ever known."

"Through sites like Oink, the amount and variety of music I listen to has skyrocketed, opening me up to hundreds of artists I never would have experienced otherwise. I'm now fans of their music, and I may not have bought their CDs, but I would have never bought their CD anyway, because I would have never heard of them!"

"For the major labels, it's over. It's fucking over. You're going to burn to the fucking ground, and we're all going to dance around the fire. And it's your own fault." (best quote ever. lol)

General Discussion / Self Tuning guitar?
« on: October 04, 2007, 12:08:00 am »
Apparently Gibson has developed a self tuning guitar, using piezoelectric pickups to identify the sound of each sting and then tightens/loosens according to that frequency.

Ok, I got my char to lvl 80 a while ago, and I head really good gear on. So I decided since I don't really care about my account/cdkey to start botting by an apparently undetectable bot (it uses no hacks, just click and presses keys in a sequence for you like in WoW glider) and I get to lvl 88 and find a few good items while doing so. Two days ago I got home from school, stopped the bot and manually tried to sell an item that I found, and then when I quit the game it logged me off. I tried to log in and it said my account was closed :(. I could still log into my other USWest account, so I thought it weird that they wouldn't ban my cdkey if they caught me botting. There are numbers next to that message corresponding to the reason why your account was closed, and mine was (0). I looked it up and it was closed due to having an offensive account name. Its pretty funny how I was closed for having the account name of Necropedophile instead of botting :P

This is like a myspace/facebook account that earns you money. Go sign up and earn me some $$. Pretty much they pay you a very small amount per profile view of your account and of the accounts you invited and the accounts they invite up to 10 levels. It goes to your paypal account and the only personal info they ask of you is email and your name, which they keep private. Either way, sign up with a junk email and you are good to go :)

Oh, and heres a review of the site - http://www.squidoo.com/yuwie_review/
