NASA has an astronomy picture of the day, and lots of them are really neat. I use them for desktop pictures.

I check it pretty much every day, but I really enjoy this stuff so maybe its just me. Cool pictures with informative descriptions

Walked all the way out to our observatory to look through our telescope at it, got a glimpse for a bit, but it was really hazy from a storm rolling in... then I was trapped there for another half an hour from a downpour lol. fail

Jupiter is the closest its been since 1951 right now... You can find it just below pegasus in the sky (in case anyone cares)
