$11billion profit THIS QUARTER and $40 profit in 20007.

Actually,they should've made more.  From what I read that's only like 10% of their revenues as profit.  I'd be a little discouraged to invest in Exxon only making 10% profit.

Heh just last week in my Rhet 1302 class I had to write a paper on the ethics of the Exxon Mobil CEO receiving a $300 million retirement package. I think during my research it mentioned that Exxon made more profit than any other U.S company this quarter.
