I decided it's finally time to set up a mailing list for the band. Anyone know of any good web-based mailing list software?

Yeah, that's the one a few groups at my university use.  It seems to work well.

Agreed, it's pretty much the standard.

You should consider getting it hosted, though, since there's a fine line between mass emails and spam that professionals would know how to deal with.
