i cant get it to connect at all in ubuntu. i have the W2BN hash folder from stealthbot in plugins/W2BN

here's what i get with that in there:

since the servers dont work how do i do local hashing? or did i configure something wrong?
the docs arent that good.

Joe

With the first example, BNLS is down, and the current version of CheckRevision is incapable of processing WarCraft II at this time. You'll just have to wait that one out.

For the second example, you're resolving uswest.battle.net to 1.0.0.0, so I'm not quite sure what happened there, although I'm going to guess that your DNS server died. I guess you'll also have to wait that one out.

Sorry.

You might be right about that, Joe.

hm, i know whenever i reboot my linux comp i have to go to networking & delete the 192.168.0.1 from DNS then add the right one. i still get the errors after i do that tho. i'll search the ubuntu forums for how to fix that.

otherwise does local hashing work?

Joe

With WarCraft II, StarCraft, and Brood War, local hashing doesn't work.

With Diablo II, Lord of Destruction, WarCraft III, and The Frozen Throne, it does.

well i got it working last night on the new comp with ubuntu on it; but then today i tried to start it up & got errors.

i dunno how to check whats wrong.

is there a more reliable bnet thing for linux or is this it?! i used stealthbot for years but it dont run on linux. :(

Joe

JavaOp is relyable as you can get -- it's BNLS that's down (and therefore, everything that uses it is also).

Post your log again and I can tell you what's wrong. But no matter what it is the solution is probably "wait it out".
