Why would you ask to join then?  Wouldn't it be a better idea to get the leaders approval before you requested to join?  And before you did that, wouldn't it be a good idea to stay active on the forums?

By letting everyone know you want in, lets them note some of your posts, see your habbits, and see if they want to vote yes or no on you, if the voting eventually comes.  If we just pmed the leaders instead, there wouldn't be a need for this forum. :)

There would still be a need because before you asked the two leaders for approval you posted on the forums and got to know everyone.

And before you did that, wouldn't it be a good idea to stay active on the forums?
