Hello,

I am running Slackware 10.2 and I have been trying to get my dual montiors working on it. For some reason no matter what I do it continues to run a mirrored image.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Well is there some setting that needs to be set that I am missing or what? Maybe it is just not possible I do not know. Also I am missing a lot of dependencies and I have been manually installing them all, anyone know a easy way to do somesort of bulk install.

That's your video card drivers.

What card are you using?

On my Radeon Mobility 9200, I run fglrxconf

Do you want to configure dual monitor support (y/n)? [n] y

Choose configuration from the list below

1.  Single Head   (1 screen, second dark)
2.  Mirror Mode   (2 screens - same content, identical refresh rate/resolution)
3.  Clone Mode    (2 screens - same content, allows for different refresh rates/resolutions)
4.  Big Desktop   (2 screens - one framebuffer)
5.  Dual Head     (2 screens - two drivers)

That should work on any ATI card if you're using the proper (fglrx) drivers.
