I very much doubt it's the hard drive, I think the only thing that could cause this would be the video card. 

Haha, yeah.  I really doubt it too, but it's the only other thing I can think possible in the situation.

How could the hard-drive possibly be at fault?  If the hard-drive was sending information wrong, other things would happen.. graphics wouldn't mess up.
