I have updated my original post now that I have seen the video several times.  :D

Two of the people in the car actually died in the crash -- do you think this guy would have really edited the video after two of his friends died?

That's probably another good hint that it's fake.  They used generic, first names.

The evidence seems glaring to me.  I wouldn't even bother.  In fact, it's so silly that I'm not going to say anything more. :P

Any how,  I agree with you. How many movies have you seen with a caption at the end saying "David and sally grew up to live hapily ever after... Steven how ever got 15 to 20 for agravated assault and arson, he is serving his sentence under the alias "Betty."" Seriously, just because it says it doesn't mean it happened.
