Supposably, there's four mountain lions that live somewhere in my backyard. Well, it's kind of a side of a mountain, so... it's only kinda' my backyard. Either way, I don't let my cat out.

You can hunt them with permits here.  You can hunt them on private land without permits, as well.

Hmm they don't actually seem that i guess dangerous considering their size, but they do have that killer instinct. I wonder if a big bloke who stands 6'3 and weighs like 100Kg and knows how to defend himself could fend it off. According to a list of fatal attacks majority of victims are young kids :( and all adult victims are female with the exception of one who was partially consumed!

If only we had real life pokemon :D

Heh.  I think I've mentioned this on these forums before, but there was a photo in the newspaper at home of a mountain lion drinking out of a birdbath in the backyard of one of the houses in town.
