Gears of War 2

Has anyone purchased this, yet? How's the multi-player? Gears of War 1 I really only played single player through the whole way on co-op, and that alone was worth the purchase. I want to buy Gears of War 2, but I know I want CoD 5 and Shaun Whites snowboarding on the 11th. So, I don't know, that's a lot of games to buy!
