new tv

The cons I've seen are quality, but I've had old CRT's all my life (except my parents', but yeah).



thoughts on what speakers/receiver I want to do in the future?  my friend has a philips home theater system in the living room it'll be hooked up to for a while, but it's lame. 
I'm thinking doing piece by piece.  Maybe receiver & center, followed by sides, the sub, then satellite rears...but this will be over a while.
