It's hard to provide a good answer without knowing what cards he needs to read. SD is the standard now for pretty much everything, ranging from cell phones to high definition camcorders. That's probably what he wants. 10-in-1 sounds like a good number. Notably missing from it's list is CompactFlash, but I really doubt he needs that.
