... the names of some commercial exe packing/encryption software?

MyndFyre

UPX is free and open-source, but I believe it only supports packing, not encryption.

by commercial I meant non-freeware/shareware, hope that clears things up

As far as I know, UPX is the de facto standard for .exe packing.  It's used in both commercial and non-commercial applications.  I'm not aware of any others that are in wide use.

In terms of encryption, I don't think there's any good way to encrypt a program.  The key to decrypt the program would have to be stored or retrieved making it vulnerable to decryption.

UPX is freeware, I know there is software out there. For example: Thinstall, costs $150
I'll add Packer to the list of Compressor/Encryptor

Yes, UPX is freeware.  But it's still the major program used, and I don't know of any common commercial ones.  I believe I already said that.

I was just clarifying in the off chance that you wouldn't be the only one to reply.
