Yeah. Yesterday I walked out during a time when people shouldn't be leaving because my teacher said we didn't have to come back after lunch. I walked right by my principal (I was outside, and he was carrying something to a teachers car I guess), and I've known him for 7 years and he didn't say anything.

Today I got tired of being in class and it would have ended in about 20 minutes. My teacher left, so I walked out...as I'm walking out the front door I see her and she doesn't say anything to me.

This sort of thing here isn't really an issue, or I'm just lucky. We do have a list of kids who aren't allowed out of class without a security escort though because they wander the halls or don't come back. Maybe Joe is a bad kid. I wouldn't be surprised since he's always getting in trouble.

We have escorts, too.  For the kids that cant find their way to class I guess. ::)

@ my highschool you couldn't just walk out if a teacher was in the class (which is like 99% of the time), but if you did & the teacher saw you later you'd be confronted.

Otherwise if you're just traveling the halls no one will stop you

It really depends how well you know my teacher. I know all my teachers well and they know I always come back and if I step out it's for something important (locker, someone needs to talk to me, bathroom emergency (bloody nose, runny nose, or something)) so it's a nonissue.
One must ask oneself: "do I will trolling to become a universal law?" And then when one realizes "yes, I do will it to be such," one feels completely justified.

There really has to be more to the story than what he's telling us because 3 times seems ridiculous.

That's the point. It is ridiculous.

Joe

Nobody's talked to me since the original post, so I don't know if they forgot (yeah, my administration does manage to forget things, no matter how many post-it notes their offices are littered with (a lot)) or they realized they were full of shit for saying anything in the first place, but either way I consider them having lost. :P

Joe, do you consider yourself a slow learner, or do you just like making the same mistakes over and over?
errr... something like that...
