I'm sorry, I don't see people in terms of race.  There it's probably just called ham.  :P

OR, having just searched it on wikipedia:

In Canada, Canadian bacon, which is also known as peameal bacon, refers to a specific variety of unsmoked lean bacon that has been sweet pickle-cured and coated in yellow cornmeal.

But yeah, pretty much a small circular piece of ham.

In America Canidian Bacon is ham that was glazed with maple syrup, then cut into peices.
