Pretty crazy that we're closer to 2030, than we are 2005. Where did the time go!

Has anyone downloaded it and tried it? I currently downloaded it and I realize it's the beta version (2) but when I go to New Project, then Windows Form Application, it loads and I get an error, and I can't edit the form? has anyone else have this problem?

I'm pretty sure that's something on your end. One of Microsoft's (few and far between) good points is that their betas are complete and nearly "release candidate"-quality programs. "It's broke because it's beta" isn't an excuse to them.

Anyhow, I use Visual Studio Express 2005, so I wouldn't know, however thanks for the heads up! I'm going to download this stuff right now. ^_^

It's funny, since it's completely on default settings and it's right when I load up VS 2008

VS 2008 installs as a different entity from 2005 all together. I have both installed atm

That doesn't mean it doesn't overwrite any [shared] system libraries.

VS 2008 beta 1 x64 overwrote MSBuild libraries of Visual Studio 2005 x86 and caused me to be unable to build even after uninstalling.

I've never had such a problem, then again I've only installed recently. It could be that use VS 2005 Express though.
