We received a letter from a lawyer represeting the CRIA, they were threatening with legal action and We need to start blocking Canadian traffic because of this. Do the trackers block Canadian IP addresses? It's rather difficult to get around that.

What I meant was that you can't tell the client to only connect through the proxy to talk to the tracker (because the swarm will determine that you are an intruder when it sees the IP address mismatch). Only applies to private torrents, though.
