Hamlet

Anyone know a scene in Hamlet that is really important to the play?

Hmmmm something tells me I either A: need to finish reading Hamlet, or B: I need to go to Sparknotes

I also haven't watched the movie.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Yea, but I really don't want to read it. Not a fan of Shakespeare. And I have a paper due on like the 26th of the month. It's supposed to be a scene analysis. I have to explain how one scene is important to the play.

Perhaps explain why his best-known soliloquy was important. :)

Which soliloguy was that? I'm only on Act 2 Scene 2.

You're all missing the biggest scene: the one where his uncle kills him and starts his reign as supreme ruler. It should be in the beginning of Act 3. Look for that, it's obviously what you're supposed to write about.

What about the scene where Hamlet is defeated by his uncle (who reveals himself to be Hamlet's father) in what is the one of the most memorable scenes of all time?

Well I was in Mr. Adams' computer lab for my CP class, just being all nice and quiet, reading Hamlet. I look up, and see a fucking herd of 6th graders come in. My first thought was "oh come on, I already don't understand Hamlet that much. How am I going to understand it with all these little kids. FUCK!."
It also didn't help that Mr. Adams wasn't there today. So, in short, Hamlet + small children = BAD. And, you know my great dislike for small children.

Yea, but I really don't want to read it. Not a fan of Shakespeare.

Yeah, ghost-written Warcraft novels are a far better example of inspired writing.  ::)
