600 people detained in an ICE raid, intense.  I saw another article today that mentioned of the 160 hispanic students at a local school, half of them were absent today.

"We have kids without dads and pregnant mothers who got their husbands taken away," said Velez's son, Robert, youth pastor at the church. "It was like a horror story. They got handled like they were criminals.

I chuckled at this a little.

Depends if your speeding ticket is civil or not.  I think our airplane issued ones (or however the hell they work) are mailed to you and are civil proceedings.

The illegals do, yeah, it's the black people that're already here that are the HUGE financial drain.  We did a report in a class that showed illegals have little impact on the economy as a whole.  I think they only hurt us like a couple million dollars per year (over all, that doesn't mean it doesnt DESTROY some places, like the LA County Hospital).
