Unexpected Internet Encounters
« on: April 25, 2010, 03:57:33 am »
So for some reason I was perusing an old account of mine at a website I used to visit (dota-allstars.com) when I noticed that, in '06, I had actually dealt with Chavo on a regular basis as the head of the tech support department. Where have you guys unexpectedly realized that you've met a person in one place after knowing them from another?
[17:42:21.609] <Ergot> Kutsuju you're girlfrieds pussy must be a 403 error for you

on IRC playing T&T++
<iago> He is unarmed
<Hitmen> he has no arms?!

on AIM with a drunk mythix:
(00:50:05) Mythix: Deadly
(00:50:11) Mythix: I'm going to fuck that red dot out of your head.
(00:50:15) Mythix: with my nine

I was buying fleshlights and I realized the person selling me them on the forum was, in fact, GameSnake!

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

I was eating dinner at this bar in Mesa when I suddenly realized that this lame-ass emo busboy was, in fact, Newby!
I have a programming folder, and I have nothing of value there

Running with Code has a new home!

Our species really annoys me.

I met C0nFu53D (or however he spells his name) in a coffee shop in Madison one day after school, but that was hardly unexpected.

There's a guy named Feanor on a bot forum I visit, but it's not the vL Feanor.
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

I've had something like the opposite happen to me several times. I'll be talking to somebody or taking a course with them or something, and we'll talk and whatever. Eventually, I mention some code I wrote, and they go, "you're THAT guy? Awesome!!" -- it's a great feeling. :)

I was browsing redtube the other night and I realized it was Newby's mom who was in the interracial gang-bang I was watching.

what's an nmap conficker?
Nmap is a popular scanning tool, and Conficker is a worm. The link in question is about an Nmap enhancement that can find systems infected with Conficker. It made some headlines when I wrote it. :)
