I've never gotten a DUI.

Of course you haven't.  your lawyer fixed that for you.

Your ad hominem attacks don't address his valid statement

I recognize your intentions there.

take a joke.

If something is a major part of a person's life, chances are they're going to discuss it regularly.  Homework may not be a major part of your life, but it's definitely one of mine.  In fact, I don't feel like I learn without it.  Having an understanding of the material is very different than being able to apply it, especially in a field like math where very little of what's required to do well involves memorization.  Homework provides necessary practice for something I'm unfamiliar with.

It might seem silly to you to grow your epeen by showing how much hw you have, but you'll have to realize that I think it's much more silly to do the same by telling everyone how drunk you were last weekend. :P

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

point of the story is that you're arguing about how much homework you have.

you're more boring than crazed.

This one time, at x86, we fought over how much homework we had. And then, this guy, trust, who is a cool kid, was like, "omg, homework is for nerds." Then he got drunk.

The end.
errr... something like that...

You guys just sound really sensitive at what seems like a good question. My classmates do the same thing, and it sort of annoys me. It seems like they're proud at having more homework and less sleep than everyone else. I don't see the point, buts its common

idk, I think the "point" is obvious.  It's to show how dedicated to your studies you are.  It's the same reason the "jock-type" person has discussions with his buddies involving how much they can weight lift.

If nothing else, it's just BSing.  Get over it, imo. :)
