I took a different way home today on my bike.  It was about a mile longer, but there was no traffic/intersections and it went along the river, so it was pretty nice.

Today:
9:00 - 10:00 Went to Ohlone College. Dad was wondering what happended to his certificate. Directed to the Admissinion's line. Directed to a small room. Directed to the department dean's office. Directed back to Admission's line. I hate the school system.

10:00 - 11:00 Went to go get $399 laptop at Fry's. Out of stock. Went for a lower grade but same priced laptop. 1.2 ghz VIA CPU, 256 MB RAM, 30 gb, No card slots, No wireless card.

11:00 - 12:00 Went home ate lunch, discoved dead pixel.

12:00 - 2:00 Went back to another Fry's. Tech guy found dead pixel. He was hilarious. We waited like forever for the exchange. He talked about a monitor that had dead pixels. Out of the 10 he had in stock 1 of them worked. He had to try 7 of them before getting one without dead pixels. Finally got done with exchanged, saw the old one with one dead pixel get marked down $20.

2:00 - 4:00 Played around with laptop and installed a bunch of stuff.

4:00 - 6:00 Dad found a better laptop for the same price at Micro Center. I uninstalled all I could like a dumbass. Went to return it, got the same tech guy. He was like "And I spent all that time doing paperwork!" Anyways they had to use the system restore discs before restocking it, the guy next to me was complain how it was bullshit, but I'm like... "sure" and thinking "dumbass noob." Anywho, my laptop beat his laptop by like a minute! His was a 1.8 ghz with 40 gb, but I don't give a damn! We WON! So then here I am now without a laptop until my dad comes home :(.

Nah, he was nice. He didn't really care because his job isn't to sell them, it's to fix them. Anywho I don't care about them I got this spiffy new laptop that I'm on right now. And I got a printer too. All of for like $800 with tax and everything. With $150 rebate on laptop and $50 for printer and $100 for credit card. So it drops to like like $500. Or something I don't remember the exact price. But this laptop is like 200x better than the other one. It's an Acer Aspire 3000. Mobile AMD Sempron 2800+ which is the same speed as my desktop. 256 MB Ram. 40 Gig hard drive. 15" Screen. It's amazing! It also has WiFi :D!!!!

I thought all laptops were WiFi...
anyways.. AMD's in laptops isn't that good because there's literally no cooling unless you want the part that the keyboard's on (whatever the hell it's called on laptops) to be ginormous+2.

Speaking of WiFi, as of today both Kismet and Auditor support my laptop's wireless card (intel ipw2200, the Intel Centrino one).  Yay!
