k, officially enrolled as a student at Johns Hopkins.  None of the summer courses I wanted had openings a month or so ago when I checked, so I'm just going to wait until the Fall to take my first course.

Chilled with sigh dough last night, possible (forced) pictures to come.

I'll be packing up my computer soon, so I'll be away for a few days, and probably wont be on much over summer

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

I downloaded an Xcode ISO onto my iPod at work today because I'm on satellite and didn't want to wait so long for it to download at home. What I didn't take into account is that I'm only running wireless-g at home and it's going to be no faster to transfer it. :(

EDIT -
Plugged my laptop into ethernet. 21 minutes, down from 3 hours. The math doesn't add up. Stupid router.

You might be right about that, Joe.

No, it means that toasters don't toast toast, people toast toast.

Next question?

I believe the intention was to be humorous, though it is possible I am mistaken!

HOUSEBOATS. 8)

If there was a "like" feature on this forum, I would like that post. Houseboats looks awesome. Yes, I know your post is a month old.

Side note: The old rule of never asking out a cashier...false. Newby, do this.

Houseboats was awesome. Next year will be even cooler. And I'll try the cashier thing. I hit on one the other day strangely enough, but didn't do anything past that. It was just fun.

Adblock/flashblock/noscript is a prerequisite for internet browsing on windows!

Also, I'm sure that I am behind the times here, but RSS feeds of torrents automatically downloading TV shows minutes after they air is amazing. This is the only way I've been able to keep up with a show in years (though that might also be because most TV is shit)

I'm sorry, but as much as I use various Google web services (search, maps, and email)... their desktop software applications are horribly lacking in areas that are MUST HAVE for someone like me a power user and control freak that likes to have customization, advanced features, and most notably application-level support for multi-monitor OS setups.

For instance, Picasa3, while I like the software for the most part, the deal breaker is the fact it reminds me how much the piece of software annoys the fuck out of me every time I open it... if it would only fucking remember the last monitor position it was opened on and not force me to move the stupid ass window to the one I always put it on every time I open an image file.  Chrome is a little better in that at least it attempts to remember where it was last opened and what monitor... it's just that it fails miserably at it and opens the browser window all fucked up at the wrong position and wrong window size.  Whoever coded Chrome's support for multi-monitor displays and whoever tested it obviously is a noob and had no clue that not every fucking multi-monitor setup uses monitors with identical resolutions, orientations, etc.

Maybe these are minor pet peeves to the majority of users, but not for me.
