I have a hard time with fiction.. I'd be better off blowing all my money on smack so I could write the millionth+1 autobiography on what it's like being a poor drug-fiend in a band.

you write short stories?
Hitmen: art is gay

That story sounds cool too.  I think you could pull it off as fiction, though.

No, but I read them.
And like a fool I believed myself, and thought I was somebody else...

Buck ass naked after a shower, bout to throw on some clothes when a dark figure between the slivers of my window's blinds caught my eye. The dark figure moved closer, then bolted off after realizing his cover was blown. I quickly threw on some clothes and ran out after him, but he was long gone. Probably some sick fuck caught a glimpse of my luscious locks and thought it was his lucky night. I hope he was chokin' the chicken when he realized I have a dick! bawk bawk bawk!

hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Today I reserved and put a deposit/down payment on a 2011 Honda CBR250R at the local dealership.  The next shipment of the bikes comes in at the end of the month, woot.

One year of graduate school down. Time to celebrate with some refreshing Blue Moon. Speaking of beer, does anyone have any recommendations? I really enjoy Blue Moon, but Sam Adams is good, too.
errr... something like that...

Not a fan of Belgian whites.  I like Sam Adams though.

I assume that isn't a reference to a nasty cheap beer here called that. :)

If you like Blue Moon, you'd probably like Sunshine.  Fat Tire and Easy Street are good wheat beers, but I think they're pretty local to the Fort Collins area.  If you're ever back there, you should try it. :)

Pretty much the only beer I ever drink these days is local. </hipster>

Chimay Grand Reserve
Orval

Both rated 'A' on beeradvocate and both really do taste like happiness.

If you like less conventional beers, try Young's Double Chocolate Stout. Chocolate beer is pretty unique (also rated 'A') :)

If you like Blue Moon, you might like the Orange/Citrus-like beer, Two Hearted Ale (IPA). That has an 'A' rating. I tried it about two weeks ago. It's pretty good (though I don't agree with 'A').

You might also like Orange Blossom Pilsner (or its 'squared' variant OBP2). Both are not well rated (C, B-, though rated by few ~50). I thought the former was OK. I've not seen the second variant anywhere. It has an obvious orange flavor.

Another decent beer I find myself buying on and off is Harpoon IPA. I think it's quite good and has a 'B' rating.

The first two I mentioned are probably the fanciest beer you could buy at a super market with the latter of the two being rarer than the former. I must warn you, both are very high in alcohol content for beer ...
An adorable giant isopod!

Chavo

Lagers & Pilsners:
Stella Artois
Becks (the Oktoberfest variety is especially good)
Grolsch
Tallgrass Kold (not "Cold")
Boulevard Pilsner
New Belgium Blue Paddle
Carlsberg
Pilsner Urquell
Rolling Rock (much lighter than the rest, good if you want something good yet drinkable but don't want or like Carona)
Warsteiner
Schlafly (summer variety is excellent)

Ales, traditional Pale Ales:
90 Shilling (wow)
New Belgium Fat Tire
Ad Astra Ale
Bodington's Pub Ale

Ambers:
Honey Brown (sweet, fairly unique)

IPAs:
Tallgrass IPA
Goose Island IPA

Bocks:
Shiner

Stouts:
Murphy's
Tallgrass Buffalo Sweat (a sweeter stout than most)

I can't drink wheat beer anymore, so I have no recommendations in that category.
