QBasic is the only one of those that is a programming language.
And QBasic shouldn't be called a language anymore.

What makes it less of a language then VB?

Didn't we delete his account and all of his posts because he made his name super-long and posted a lot of complete and utter trash?

I have a programming folder, and I have nothing of value there

Running with Code has a new home!

Nope

Joe

VisualBasic is a language. QBasic is a script. QBasic is never compiled. (You're thinking about QuickBasic, QBasic was free with Windows 95)

Why can't languages be interpreted?  Are you saying that Perl isn't a language?

QuickBasic and QBasic are the same language.  Microsoft's "QBasic" was short for "QuickBasic."

Also, a QBasic compiler was freely available that used the same development environment as QBasic but provided EXE generation.

Quite correct. Bad english reading on my part, sorry. :)

I don't know VB or Qbasic but from what I've read Qbasic hasn't been supported by Microsoft since Windows 2000 came out and Visual Basic is one of the most popular languages out there. No one ^important uses Qbasic anymore. :P
